Marj Hicks, 67, of Kansas City, passed away June 17, 2017, surrounded by her family. Marj grew up in Prairie Village, KS and was the daughter of Reg and Maxine Farber. She attended Shawnee Mission East High School and later graduated from Baylor University. She married the love of her life, Michael Hicks in 1976, and they resided in Kansas City until her death. More recently, Marj was the executive assistant to Scott Slaggie of Slaggie Architects in Kansas City. Marj is survived by her husband, her children Leatha and Andrew, her daughter-in-law Kelsey, her sister Gina Jones, her nieces and nephews, and was the most amazing grandmother to her three precious grandchildren, Beckett, Cully and Huston.
