William "Bill" Rudolph McCrorey

William Rudolph McCrorey, 73, of Overland Park, Ks, passed away July 3, 2017 at his home. Bill was born July 7, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to John F. and Nellie McCrorey. He was a former resident of Rich Hill and Independence, MO. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star.

 
 
He is survived by his wife Abigail Fannie McCrorey, daughters Tammy McCrorey, Danielle Banion (Jesse), Sharon McCrorey, Nicole McCrary, Denise Hobbs and Kay McCrorey; grandchildren Augustus Banion, Shylee Binder, Bianca and Jillian Drake, Gregory McHenry, Thomas Hobbs, Morgan Haas and David Sanders, Alyce, Chantel, Josette, Jovanna, Robin, Tyla and Kaya Maltbia brother Doug McCrorey (Jeannie), sister-in-law Phylis McCrorey, several nieces, nephews and cousins.  
 
Visitation will be Mon., July 10, 2017 6-8 pm, funeral service 10:30 am, Tuesday both at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS. Burial in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
