Michael Joseph Burke, 73, of Weatherby Lake, MO, passed away Wed. April 18, 2018. Mike was born Nov. 11, 1944 to Alfred and Alvina Gierczak Burke in Cleveland, OH. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the US Marine Corp, where he was awarded 5 medals.

Mike was an employee of General Motors retiring after 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Betty and Rose, brothers; Louis and Frances.

Mike leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Karen, daughter, Tabitha (Danny), stepdaughter, Sheri (Mike) stepson, Dusty, eight grandchildren; Jessica, James, Justyn, Dylon, Luke, Jake, Kelly, Liz, eight; great-grandchildren; Aaron, Raelynn, Mason, Marlie, Austin, Lily, Max and Noah, sisters; Mary, Patricia (Chris), Theresa, brother, Alfred (Patricia).

Mike will be missed by all his loving family and friends. Graveside inurnment sevices at Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date.
