Gosh, I always liked Mr. Bintner and how many people can say that about their h.s. principal? He was so kind and generous and had a good sense of humor....would even laugh at his own jokes and himself! I'm sorry for his loss. I will miss seeing him biking around the neighborhood.

Stu was among the first friend made at NWMSU. We pledged Tau Kappa Epsilon together and were best friends through our college years. Those were great years, drinking beer in moderation and just hanging out. Recently we have been emailing on a regular basis. Stu was my go to source of information historical. I’ll miss knowing Stu I just a phone call away.

I always loved Mr. Bintner's witty and dry sense of humor. He had a huge heart and it always showed. He truly cared about us students and you could feel that when you talked to him. Such a big loss. He will be missed. Prayers for his family.

To the family and friends of our beloved principal - As a former student of Dr Bintner (aka Dr Stu) from OHS Class of '83 -all of us we were very saddened by the sudden news. We students all felt the same about him as a leader whose skillsets manifested high expectations with disciplined structure while having fun thru his engaging personality and always leading with a genuine interest in all of us. We were fortunate to see him at our 30th Reunion in the summer of 2013 as he took the time to re-engage with all of us and was a highlight for our class! He invested many hours in us including in the evenings and weekends to cheer us on during our HS years and will always be remembered as BEST in Class!
