Pat J. “Stally” Stallbaumer, 54 of Mission, KS, passed away June 19, 2016. Pat was born August 2nd, 1961 in Kansas City, KS. After first attending Queen of the Holy Rosary School, he graduated from Bishop Miege High School in 1979. He worked as a carpenter for over 30 years and affiliated with the Local Carpenters Union #61. Pat enjoyed the simple things in life such as camping, canoeing, grilling, and caring for friends and family. Pat played baseball, disc golf, and loved watching his children play sports. People will remember him as someone who was personable, good natured, and always down for a fun time.
He is preceded in death by his father, Fridolin “Doc”, and brother, Michael. He is survived by his wife Jan, children Patrick Jr. (Julie)(Patrick's mother Suzanne Dawkins), Sam, Sophie, Madolyn and Jack (their mother Pam Schneider) Stally's mother Joan; siblings Sue Gustafson (Bob), Ann Abare (Tim), Ellen Hoffman (Terry), Jennifer Rouyer (David), and Matthew Stallbaumer (Lauren). Stepchildren: Robin Harper and Jesse McKenzie. Grandchildren: Elliott, Ethan, Xander, Emmett. Foster children/grandchildren: Allie/Ellie, his dog Love. In addition to those named, he was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends
Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m., Rosary at 10:30 a.m. with Mass following at 11:00 a.m., Friday June 24, 2016 at Queen of the Holy Rosary, 7023 W. 71st St., Overland Park, KS. The Family will continue to celebrate Pat’s life, Saturday June 25th with a Celebration of Life BBQ. Location 14310 W. 74th St. Shawnee, KS. 66216. Guests may arrive any time after 1 p.m. Please join us in sharing memories and stories of Pat with his many dearest friends and family. In his honor, feel free to wear your favorite tie-dye, Hawaiian shirt, Chiefs, or Royals shirts. We will have plenty of food, drinks and yard games. Bring yours (or Pat’s) favorite side dish to share with the spread, if you like, but please do not feel obligated. Let us send our dear friend, coworker, father, husband, brother, and son off in the way he lived his life, filled with family, friends, and good times.
The house is on a cul-de-sac so there will be parking in that area as well as the surrounding cul-de-sacs and streets. If extra parking is needed, there is a pool area with extra spots located at the front of the neighborhood.
