Bernard (Bernie) Charles Uecker, 84, of Gladstone, MO, died peacefully on 4/05/2024 at the KC Hospice House. He is survived by his daughter Michelle, son - Brad & his wife Carrie, and their three children Brooks, Katherine and Gabrielle.  Also survived by his brothers Pat, Rodney & Jeff, sisters Connie, Kathy, Allison & Jill. Also, former spouses Joelyn Vap, Annamae Uecker.

Bernie born and raised in Wagner, South Dakota. He served in the US Army for 4 years. Worked for South Dakota Rural Electric as a lineman and worked for Sutherland Lumber Company for a total of 29 years. Then started performing handyman remodeling projects for several years before deciding to retire. 

Bernie loved his family, watching MLB - especially the Yankees and enjoying a diet Pepsi and a cigar. He was always willing to help anyone would ask and had a story for any occasion. He was loved and will truly be missed.  No memorial service, per Bernie’s request.
