Orpha "Susan" Malone, Age: 69
Dec 18, 1954 - Apr 08, 2024

Orpha “Susan” Malone, age 69 passed away on April 8th, 2024. She was born on December 18, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri to her loving parents James William and Dorothy Eileen Menaugh. She was raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and enjoyed anything and everything outdoors. Susan worked in food service and retired from the Hickman Mills School District.

She also shared her love of food with her family and friends, whether it was preparing for a holiday or party, she always knew the right thing to bring. She enjoyed crafts, painting, and home DIY projects. As a dedicated and involved mother, she ensured her daughters had a fun and active childhood. Through the years she showed everyone the true meaning of “Lake Life”. She was a giving person and was the first to step in if anyone needed help. She loved her family more than anything.

Susan is survived by her two daughters and their families: Renee Krouse (James) and Shauna Stonum, as well as her grandchildren Zack, Jackson, Addison, Piper, and Frank Jr.

She is also survived by her former husband Forrest Malone and 3 siblings: Barbara Long, Pat Lehman, and Jim Menaugh, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Susan’s last wishes were for all her family and friends to gather for a big party rather than a mournful funeral.
