From: John Slaughter
Relationship: Friend

To Bills Family, I got to know Bill over several months of playing poker with him, Gene Bernard, my son Andrew, and others. As time passed and I got to know him better I began to realize that Bill was one of the finest men I have ever known. His many acts of kindness to others, revealed slowly and never in a boasting manner, during our conversations led me to the conclusion that Bill was a truly good man and a gentlemen. It was a privledge to have know him. I am sorry for your loss. Jack Slaughter
