Stephen Eric Norkus, 55 of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away March 10, 2010. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 West 103rd St., 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00. Steve was preceded in death by his son Stephen Gregory Norkus. He is survived by his sons Michael and Jack, Kathleen Gladbach Norkus, parents Marian and Raymond Norkus, Lexington, KY., and brothers Michael, Jeffrey and Douglas. Steve proudly served his country in the US Air Force, he was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and retired from the University of Kansas Medical Center after 25 years of service as a biomedical engineer. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the education fund for Michael and Jack at Valley View Bank, O.P., Ks.
