Evelyn Lorine Craig 86, Lenexa, Kansas, passed away March 11, 2010 at 2:35 AM. Services are pending. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Craig and by one son Michael Craig. Survivors include sons Richard (Barbara) Craig; Michigan City and Joseph C. (June) Craig; Ogden Dunes, IN., daughter Evelyn E. Craig and husband Tom Sizemore, Lenexa Ks., four grandchildren; Julie and Sharon Craig, Jeffrey and Jon Craig and great granddaughter Cierra Strawder. She is also survived by her sister Lou Mercier, Brentwood, Mo., niece Kay (Richard) Kobetz, and great niece April Kobetz. Evelyn was born November 7, 1923 in Port Arthur, Texas. On June 3, 1942 she married Joseph Craig and worked along side her husband in their heating and cooling business. She was a life long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Overland Park, Ks since 2008. Evelyn was an avid reader, bird watcher and a devoted wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family suggests memorial contributions to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1237 East Coolspring Avenue, Michigan City, IN 46360.
