In deep sadness we share the passing of DeeAnna L. Chapman (November 23,1971 – October 23, 2026). She passed away after a lengthy illness and was surrounded by loved ones at her side.

DeeAnna grew up in Overland Park. She had two lengthy jobs; Deluxe Check Printing and U.S. Bank.

She loved animals especially her little Shih Tzu, Summer. She and her immediate family had rescued older dogs to provide a quality life in the dogs remaining months to come.

She also loved football, especially the KC Chiefs. Her knowledge of the game was legendary; she could talk strategy and stats better than most (everyone knew not to call her during the game). She enjoyed country, rock, and 80s music and was an expert in knowing each artist. More important, DeeAnna was steadfast in her belief in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Her greatest legacy is the love she shared with family. She is survived by her two sons Nick Adams (Tricia Waters) and Christopher (Jessica) Adams; parents Tina Chapman of Overland Park and Dennis Chapman of San Diego; brother, Brian (Jacquelyn) Chapman and niece, Issie Chapman; two grandsons, Easton and Grayson Adams; granddaughter, Emersyn Adams. She also had several loving aunts, uncles & cousins.

A Celebration of Life service (on DeeAnna’s Birthday) will be held at the Lenexa Baptist Church 15320 W 87th Pkwy on Monday, November 23, 2026, Visitation at 1:00 pm, service at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers send donation to Olathe Health Charitable Foundation, Olathe Health Hospice and Hospice House
