Robert L. "Bob" Dall

May 25, 1938 - April 25, 2021

 

Robert L. Dall, 82,passed away on April 25, 2021, at KU Medical Center.  Bob was born in Council Bluffs , Iowa, on May 25, 1938, to Leslie and Lois (Larsen) Dall. 

He was preceeded in death by both parents and one brother, Dr. William Dall. Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Roberta ( Laughery) Dalland three children:  Christie Schroeder, Gary; Dian Triggs, John; Robert Andrew Dall, Robin.  He has four grandchildren: Amber( Schroeder) Coppenbarger, Dylan; Amie Schroeder. Carly Triggs, and Cody Triggs.  One greatgrandchild, Blakelynn Coppenbarger.  

Bob was a graduate of the KU School of Pharmacy in 1960. He went to work at the family business, Dall Drug in Omaha, Nebraska.  After his father's passing, Bob sold the pharmacy in 1972 and moved to Shawnee, KS, in 1974 where he worked at Osco and Miller Pharmacy until he retired in 2005.

Family activities were very important to Bob. He always put family first and comfortable in any setting .  For years he was instrumental in family fishing trips and loved striper fishing at Lake Texoma.  He was an avid sports fan especially following the KC Royals, KC Chiefs, KU basketball, and St Louis Blues Hockey.

Please join us in celebrating Bob's life on Friday, April 30 at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS, 2-4pm.  You are invited to come in your favorite sports attire and share stories and memories.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to KCPT Public Television, Noah's Bandage Project, or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
