Steven “Steve” James Hoschouer, Sr.

Steven “Steve” James Hoschouer, Sr.,  of Linn Valley, KS, formerly of Nickerson, KS, 65, passed away October 15, 2021. Steve was born on July 14, 1956 in Hastings, Nebraska, the son of Everett and Joyce Hoschouer. He attended Nickerson High School and graduated with the class of 1974. Steve married Trudie “Bonham” Hoschouer of Nickerson, KS in 1974. Steve and Trudie went on to have 3 children. Steve lived most of his life in Nickerson, KS before moving to Belton, MO and then to Linn Valley, KS. Steve enjoyed riding his Harley, scuba diving, cruising the water on his pontoon, watching NASCAR and spending time with family and his beloved dog, Sugar.

 

He is survived by his wife, Trudie Hoschouer; Joyce Hoschouer, mother; Saluda (Rodney) Geist, daughter; Melissa (Rodney) Fox, daughter; Steve (Shawna) Hoschouer, son; Maranda (Jason) Magnuson, daughter; Stanley (Kaylene) Hoschouer, brother; Shawna Adams, sister. Grandchildren, Rodney Jr (Gabriella), Monica, Nickolas, Dayton, Gavan, Justiz, Alani, and Liam. Great grandchildren, Blaise and Novalie.

 

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Everett Hoschouer. 

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm, Saturday October 23, 2021 at 744 York St., Salina, KS.
