Obituaries detail

Philip Andrew Higbee

August 29, 1957 -  August 31, 2022

Andrew Higbee of Independence, Missouri and formerly of Michigan passed away at home on Wednesday, August 31st.

He attended the Electronics Institute in Kansas City and worked for Bell Telephone, ATT,  and EDS before starting his own cabling business in MIchigan.  When he returned to Missouri he was a contractor in the cabling business.

Andrew was a kind person, someone you enjoyed being with because of his great sense of humor. He loved the Chiefs,  the Royals, the Detroit Red Wings, and peaceful days fishing on the lake, but most of all Andrew loved his family.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents: Philip and Martha (Gilbert) Higbee both of Independence. He is survived by his son, Zackary Higbee of Michigan, two sisters: Michele Rohaus (Independence) and Roxanne Ponak (Blue Springs), and numerous other family members and loved ones.

Cremation through Cremation Society of Kansas and Missouri. Private memorial at a later date. The family suggests memorial donations or contributions may be made to the Cancer Action Society.
