It is with great sadness that the family of Martha Sue McKee (Johansen), 72, announce she passed away, May 19th, 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was surrounded by her daughters and husband of 47 years.

She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Donald and Loretta Johansen, on December 2, 1950. She graduated from Oakland High School in 1970. She held various positions over her career with one of her favorites working for the airlines. She was also a Girl Scout Troop leader for her daughters.

Martha was an avid gardener, lover of her family, shopping and her cats. She loved to travel the world and even enjoyed many years as the backseat driver on a Harley. She served the last 6 years as an Alderman for the City of Cleveland, MO. Through her work with Walmart and the Cleveland Chief of Police, she would organize Cleveland’s “Shop with a Cop” campaign each Christmas. The event was highly anticipated each year and a great success.
