Sharon Akamu, 73, of Kansas City, MO. passed away on June 29th 2023, with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Albert Akamu and surviving mother Rose Foster, on August 24th 1949 in Hayward California.

Sharon's career as a CNA started in St. Louis, MO. in 1984. Sharon worked for numerous Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities. She also enjoyed working as a Private Duty Nurse. Sharon retired as a CNA in 2015.

Though Sharon's health was failing her, few people knew the extent to which she struggled. Her joy for life and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through the pain.

Sharon is predeceased by Father Albert Akamu and Sister Linda Akamu.

Sharon is survived by her Siblings Sisters: Rosemary Darwin, Bernie Harrell, Delores DeSoto. Brother's Paul and Danny Perreira.  Sharon's two Son's: Rodney and Shane Ching. Grandchildren Lauren Jordan, Phillip Ching and Kayla Dunn. Great Grandchildren Kayden (Anthony)  Birmingham Kayden father, and Isaiah Motko.
