Sandra F. Brumfield

     Sandra F. Brumfield, 75, of Kansas City, MO joined her Lord and Redeemer, September 12, 2023.  She no longer faces daily pain management and other health challenges. Hallelujah! Sandra was born in DeSoto, MO February 20, 1948.  She was the second daughter of Norris "Jake" and Iris M. Gansert.  Sandra's older sister, Terri Hoff and husband Jim Hoff are deceased.  After high school, Sandra's college years were in Springfield, Missouri at Southwest Mo. State University (Now Missouri State University).  This is where Sandra met her future husband, Dewey Brumfield from Kansas City, MO.  Their wedding was held in DeSoto, MO November 28, 1969.  Sandra and Dewey were married 53 years! Upon moving to Kansas City Sandra was employed by Permatex International.  When the company relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, Sandra decided to stay in Kansas City.

Sandra was then employed by the Ophthalmic Practice of Dr. Deligeorge and Dr Cook.  Sandra was employed there several years.

Sandra is survived by her husband Dewey, nephew Brad(Sheri) Hoff, Wentzville, MO and niece Kristen (Tony) May St. Louis, MO. She also has several grandnieces and grandnephews in Wentzville and St. Louis.  Sandra also has a sister-in-law, Renee (Craig) McBrayer who lives in Kiowa, KS

Sandra lived life as she chose-never suffering any fools! She enjoyed Schnauzer puppies Antiqueing (Several Vintage Collections) K.C. Chiefs, cooking old family recipes, living a Christian life and donating to charities. A private family gathering is planned at Resurrection Cemetery.
