Fred went to be with our Lord on the morning of June 29th, one day before his 76th birthday. He was in the home. He worked as a printer all his working life. When he retired, he built furniture, but then found his true hobby of machine work. He was a member of The New Wine Vineyard Church, and he loved the Lord. He had a great sense of humor, and his family meant the world to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mary Amelung. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon K Amelung, daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Todd Taylor, grandchildren Maggie, Whitney, Garrett, and Ty Taylor, son Steve Amelung, granddaughter Kasey Amelung, great granddaughter Briella Swartz, sister Vicki Hardman, niece Tiffany Garrett, and nephew, Troy Hardman.
He will be missed immensely, but we know you are with Jesus now and no longer suffering. We will be together again someday.
The family will have a private memorial. Any donations to the Kansas City Hospice, and the Dementia Society would be appreciated.
