Ronald G Rowland, 86, Kansas City, MO passed away on August 1, 2024. Ronald was born September 26, 1937 in Hanston, KS, to William and Louise (Fulkerson) Rowland.
Mr. Rowland graduated from Kansas State with a degree in chemistry and a graduate degree in analytical chemistry. He spent the first couple of years of his career working at Armour Research Lab, General Motors Research Lab and Dow Corning Co. He spent 39 years teaching chemistry in the Kansas City Community College system.
Ron loved reading, sports (especially K-State sports), hiking, theatre, movies and travel; he visited more than 60 countries. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jim Rowland. His ashes will be interned with his parents and his brother at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
