Maggie Jean Witt, Age: 32
Sep 24, 1992 - Apr 18, 2025

Maggie Jean Witt

Maggie Jean Witt, beloved daughter of Judy and Rick Witt, passed away on April 18, 2025, in Kansas City, MO. She was born on September 24, 1992, in Boulder, CO. Maggie was just 32 years old at the time of her passing.

In addition to her parents, both of Westminster, CO, Maggie is survived by her younger brother Alex, of Loveland, CO.

Maggie will be remembered for her huge heart, charisma, joyous spirit, and zest for living life to the fullest. She devoted significant amounts of time volunteering for organizations like Habitat For Humanity and shelters for unwed mothers. She loved Broadway musicals, country music, anything true crime related, cooking, riding her bike, playing Pokémon GO, and her hometown Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. More than all that, she loved spending time with her friends, caring for her two rescue dogs Jenkins and Annie, and every opportunity to spend time with, or at least talk to, her family back in Colorado.

A 2010 graduate of Broomfield (CO) high school, Maggie was gifted both athletically and artistically. She started playing soccer at age 4 and played competitively at the club and high school levels into her junior year. She then turned her attention to the performing arts, appearing in numerous school productions during her junior and senior years.

Maggie spent the last seven years of her life in Kansas City, working in the banking and finance industries. Fiercely independent and self-sufficient, Maggie left her birth state at the age of 25 to forge her own path. She was a constant source of pride to her parents for her bravery, willingness to take risks, and unwillingness to let the world intimidate or stifle her.

Maggie was, on every level, truly one of a kind. She will be forever missed by her friends and family.

A celebration of Maggie’s life will take place in Colorado at a date and place to be determined.
