January 29, 1948 – August 7, 2025

Les was born January 29, 1948 in Jackson County Mo, to Lester and Catherine (Culp) Mansell.

He joined the US Army in 1969 and served in the Vietnam War.  He received numerous decoration medals/badges and commendations.  Les received an honorable discharge.

After getting out of the service, he was a truck driver for Scholastics.  On December 28, 1991 he married the love of his life Barbara Kay Ramey.

He was preceded in death by his father (Lester) mother (Catherine), step-mother (Leah), brother (Richard), wife (Barbara Kay) stepson (Scott Shaver).  Les is survived by his daughter-n-law (Tammy Shaver), grandchildren Sean (Adrienne) Shaver & Kristie Shaver, brother (Henry Mansell), nephews (Jon & Tony Mansell) and niece (Danita Wanna).

A celebration of life will be set for a later date.
