Martha Lee Fouquet

August 13, 1931-August 13, 2025

 

Martha Fouquet was born on August 13, 1931, in Grandview, Missouri. She passed away in hospice care, surrounded by family on August 13, 2025. Martha was a bookkeeper for various real estate companies in the Kansas City area.
 
Martha is survived by daughters Kathey (John) and Denise; granddaughter Ashley (Jake); grandson Alex, great grandchildren Emery and Jackson; step-granddaughter Merritt; step great grandchildren Jackson and Angela; a brother in Florida Jim (Nancy) and his children, Paul, Robin and Karen and their families; a niece in New Jersey, Lori and family; along with many other wonderful nieces and nephews.  
 
Martha was pre-deceased by her spouse of 65 years, Kent; her sister Betty, and her mother Margie and father Paul.
 
Martha was “the caretaker.” She enjoyed taking care of her family, especially her twin grandchildren and her two great grandchildren, who will miss her fabulous back rubs. She was generous with her time and compassion to all who needed her. She will be truly missed by all of us.
 
Many thanks to KC Hospice. And, many thanks to all the friends and neighbors who brought food and helped the family with Martha’s care. Per Martha’s wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held.
