Randal Blake Stevenson, Age: 55
Apr 04, 1970 - Oct 28, 2025

Randal Blake Stevenson, 55, of Independence, MO passed away on October 28, 2025 peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Randal was born in Independence, MO on April 04, 1970 to Arthur and Linda Stevenson. While in high school he began working at Happy Joes at the Blue Ridge Mall with Tim Pace and when  it closed he went on to work with Tim and his brother Steve at Tim's Pizza on 40 Highway in Independence, MO.  Upon their deaths he became the owner. While preparing for his own passing, he also made preparations to continue the legacy of Tim’s Pizza and provided means to help the new owners be successful.

Randal loved cars, tools, cats and all things mechanical. He was forever inspired, jumping from one idea to another leaving projects unfinished but never forgotten. His greatest love though, was always his home away from home, Tim’s Pizza. Randal had pizza sauce running through his veins and was always invested in his customers beyond just the pizza. He went above and beyond for his small but impactful business and treated it as his own baby. While enduring a great deal, he never complained, and remained a warrior to the end. Randal was a good, kind, and generous man and will be missed by many.

Randal is survived by his parents, Arthur and Linda Stevenson; his brother Jeff and wife Janice, their children, Brandon, Taylor, and Bryan; and his sister, Lisa and her husband Dee, their children, Ashley, Jessica, Emily, and Danni.

Uncle ,Edgerton ,Kansas

I want to express my condolences to Art, Linda,Jeff and Lisa and their families. I’m thankful that I was able to visit with Randy a couple of times over the past year. I remember how passionate he was about preserving the legacy of Tim’s Pizza and I am thankful that he was able to set it up to continue on in his absence. He poured his life into Tim’s Pizza and even when he was battling cancer he made it a priority. I found him to be a gentle spirit who really cared about others. I am proud to have been his uncle and regret that I wasn’t able to spend more time with him. I look forward to being with him again on the other side of this life.

Hi Linda & Art, I'm so sorry for your loss. Randy is finally at peace with no pain or suffering; he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As you know, I know how it feels and I pray God helps you through this time of horrible grief and relives some of your pain. If you need or want to talk, please call me as someone who has been through it. Love you, and may God give mercy to you and your family!
