John was a very good friend. I enjoyed him immensely. We could talk and talk about everything and anything. His knowledge, intelligence and sound judgment made our conversations a delight. I will miss John. As we are away for the winter we will not be able to attend John’s services. We send condolences to the entire family.

I had the pleasure of knowing John through Legacy Park gym. We took many of the same classes and often worked out side by side. He was always soft-spoken, and his kindness will never be forgotten—especially the support he showed me during my long illness.

I’m very sorry to hear of John’s passing. We met at Legacy and John became one of our sweat buddies. We all shared our love of reading and John always had a good book to recommend to the group. But more importantly, John had such a tender heart and we all missed him when he was no longer coming to the gym. We thought about him and had hoped he would be back and join us once again. Your family is in my prayers. Eternal rest grant unto John, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

John was one of a kind. He was a loving father, loving Brother in law, loving Uncle, loving cousin and all around friend to all. While growing up, John always would make sure to include me in everything we did as a family. He was always asking me who my new boyfriend was or how school was going. As I grew older, he always made sure I felt apart of their conversations. When I got married he welcomed my husband and made him feel the same way he made me feel, welcomed. John was like that. My mother and father often spoke so kindly about John. He just had that thing about him. I know he loved Joanne, because you could always see it in the way he looked at her. He love his kids, Rebecca, Kevin and Holly. He had a special place in his heart for each one. I loved John very much and always looked forward to family reunions to see him as well as all my family. He holds a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with Joanne, Rebecca, Kevin and Holly during this time. I pray God will give each one of you the strength you need during this time. Remember John would want it that way. I love ya'll and I'm with you in spirit. Julie
