Amy Patricia Reimer-Villegas

March 24, 1992 – February 7, 2026

At the age of 33

From Raytown, MO

Born in Cranbrook, BC Canada to Dannelle MacKinnon and Dale Reimer.

She attended schooling in Cranbrook, BC, starting with T.M Roberts Elementary school, then Parkland Middle school, and graduated from Mount Baker school in June 2010.

She loved reading, playing video games, loved her hamsters but especially loved her cats, watching shows like The Office, Brooklyn 99, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Wire, Fear Factor, MXC, and she loved to spend her free time in her garden planting flowers and vegetables.

Amy was a kind hearted, private person who always would offer to lend a hand to anyone in need. She was a hard worker and excelled in anything she put her mind to. As an avid animal lover, she fed the neighborhood cats and tended to their needs. Amy was especially gifted at avoiding photos but rarely failed to have her beautiful smile captured.

She leaves behind her husband John Villegas, her mother Dannelle MacKinnon, her father Dale Reimer, her mother-in-law Carol Burris (Alaina Burris) and father-in-law Steve Burris, (Laurel Kraft), her brothers Jacob Reimer (Kiernan, Lukas, and Marlie Reimer) and Joey Reimer, her grandparents Dan and Nelda MacKinnon, her beloved cats Ferio, Nyx, Peter, Ellie, Arthur, Lily, Ares (Bobby RIP). She also leaves to mourn numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, step-family, and friends.

Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Aaron and Mildred Reimer.
