Charles Robert King, Age: 76

Charles R. King (Charlie), 76, of Gladstone, Missouri, passed away on February 18, 2026. He was born on December 29, 1949, in Maryville, Missouri, to Winfred and Elizabeth King, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his infant brother, Larry, and other loved ones who welcomed him home.

Charlie grew up in Maryville and attended Maryville High School. He went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army during the late 1960s and early 1970s, spending most of that time in Vietnam. Following his military service, Charles worked for over 30 years at Eveready Battery Company, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

Charlie was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dianna King; his daughters, Daisy King and Sally King; and his siblings, Roger King, Gary King, and Linda Bean. He cherished time spent with his family and leaves behind many treasured memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 26, 2026 at NYX Lounge located at 7022 N Locust St, Gladstone, MO 64118, from 2:00-4:00pm. All are welcome to attend, dress will be casual. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in memory of Charles R. King at  help.dav.org

Charlie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
