Vivian "Rene" (Goodman) Leftridge, 68, of Holt, MO (formerly of Peoria, IL) passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, in her home.
Rene was born August 31, 1957, in Amarillo, TX to Sharon (Thompson) Wilson and Richard Goodman, both proceeded her in death.
She married Everett "Butch" Leftridge on July 4, 2009, at their home in Holt, MO surrounded by their loving, blended family on their favorite holiday of the year. Her husband survives.
Also surviving are her children: Jennifer (Roberta) Kettle, Jamie Kettle, and Jonathan (Korinne) Kettle. Stepchildren: Landon (Amy) Leftridge and Lauren (John) Leftridge. Sisters: Sandra (Dale) Whitehead and Donna (Steve) Wisher. Stepsisters: Michelle (Bob) Jakupcak and Angie (Jeff) Kusnerick. And stepmother: Elaine Goodman.
Two brothers proceeded her in death: Terry Goodman and Ed Wilson.
Her grandchildren: Louis, Dakota, Tristan, Rowan, Isabella, Hailey, Reid, Kyna, MaKenzie and her great-grandchildren, Kaylei and Payton were her everything. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Rene enjoyed sewing, quilting and just about anything crafty, always full of creative ideas. She was always quick to help take care of others or quick to make you smile or laugh. But, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family.
She last worked at Casey's in Kearney, MO, where she enjoyed interacting with her co-workers and customers before her retirement in 2025.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced later. Final interment will take place in Peoria, IL at a future date.
