Marvin Boicourt, 90, passed away on May 2, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on July 12, 1935, in Webster City, Iowa, where he grew up on a farm with his two brothers and two sisters.

While in high school, Marvin worked at the gas station across the street from his future wife, Mary, who worked at First State Bank. They first met while riding the school bus as children and became high school sweethearts. They married on October 8, 1955 and were together for 68 years before Mary’s death on May 25, 2024.

Marvin and Mary spent time during their marriage traveling to various destinations, around the world, including family vacations in a Winnebago. As a couple, they rode their Goldwing motorcycle visiting 32 states and Canada, playing golf along the way.

While raising five daughters on a farm north of town, Marvin drove a semi-truck locally while farming. He spent a few years driving semis cross country before retiring to Bella Vista, Arkansas. To stay busy, he started a moving business helping local residents move locally and around the country.

Marvin is survived by daughters: Marisa (Rick) Atteberry, Michele (Bob) Lastovica, Melanie (David) Coil, Margo (Chris) Fox, and Marla (Scott) Hanover, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and brother Tom Boicourt. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary (Crystal), twin sons Michael and Mitchell, his parents Harold and Esther (Pederson) Boicourt, brother Dean Boicourt and sisters Marie Burton and Darlene Gourley.

Marvin and Mary will be buried together in a graveside service on May 30 at Cass Cemetery at 11 am in Webster City. Friends and family are invited to join the family for a lunch immediately following the graveside service at The American Legion, 726 Second Street, Webster City, Iowa.
