William Allen LaClair (Noxsah)

Jan 18, 1981 - May 03, 2026

William Allen LaClair (Noxsah), born January 18, 1981, in Topeka, KS to Barbara and Franklin LaClair, passed unexpectedly on May 3, 2026.

A graduate of Topeka High School, Class of 1999, Kaw Area Technical School, and Washburn University, Will was a proud member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. He was an avid outdoorsman, craftsman, and botanist, but above all else, he was a loving husband and devoted father whose greatest joy was his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Tiffany (Turrentine) LaClair, and his two cherished daughters Lilly and Emilie, his parents Barbra and Franklin as well as his sisters Caroline LaClair and Rachael Webster.

Will’s life was defined by love, strength, and quiet kindness, and he will be remembered most for the way he showed up for the people he cared for. In the words of Shakespeare, “Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.” May he be carried gently home, and may Will’s memory remain a source of comfort and love for all who knew him.

In accordance with Will’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and he is one with the earth. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kansas Public Radio in his memory.
