Judith “Judy” Kay (Wagner) Owen, 83, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, at Saint Luke's Hospice House. Judy was born in Springfield, Ohio, to Phillip and Marjorie (Flora) Wagner. She married Tom Owen in 1967, and they lived in Douglasville, Georgia, until relocating to Kansas in 1989. She worked in the childcare field for many years.

Judy had a lifelong love of flowers, gardening, and the outdoors, and more recently she became an avid reader. Judy also enjoyed spending time with her family, to whom she was very close. She leaves behind a lifetime of love and laughter for those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Tom; and her sister, Dianne Rhoads.

Judy is survived by her daughters; Diana Owen-Emerson and her husband Patrick Emerson of Olathe, Kansas; and Joanna Owen of Prairie Village, Kansas. She also leaves behind her two grandchildren, Sophia and Nate, whom she cherished, along with nieces, a nephew, and dear friends whom she considered family.
