Mary Lenie of Kansas City, Missouri, age 80, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at home surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Hans Lenie Jr., and her sister, Mona “Berdi” Prose. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Hans Leine III; Ingrid (Jeff Kerwin); & Jon (Debye). She adored her grandchildren: Chloë and Emma Kerwin; & Jake and Janson Lenie. Her little sister, Nan (Bruce Sommers); and many loving nieces, nephews, bonus grandchildren, and extended family.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate her life, and the love she provided us all. She was the glue, our rock, and we will all be forever grateful.
