Tony Potter, born July 17, 1978, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the age of 47.
Tony was the son of the late Johnny Ray Potter and the late Louella Sue Potter. He grew up in Oklahoma and remained an Oklahoma resident for most of his life. In May of 2022, Tony and his wife, Micheal, moved to Butler, Missouri, where they began a new chapter together.
Tony married Micheal, the love of his life, on September of, 2018. Together they built a blended family grounded in devotion, partnership, and a deep commitment to one another.
He was a proud father to his six children: daughters Catherine, Natalie, and Cindy Rose, and sons Jonathan, Aaron Michael, and Aidan Allen. Tony cherished his children and took immense pride in the people they are becoming.
Tony is survived by his wife, Micheal; his brother, J.D. Potter; and sister-in-law, Janae Potter. He was preceded in death by his brother‑in‑law, James, who passed in 2024.
Tony worked for Owen Lumber Company, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to help anyone who needed it. Outside of work, Tony was happiest outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, working on cars, and crafting with wood. Some of his most treasured moments were spent on the lake with his family, relaxing together on a pontoon boat and enjoying the peace of the water.
Tony will be remembered for his steady presence, his hands‑on talents, his love for the outdoors, and the deep devotion he held for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
