Mary Carolyn (Alexander) Creason, Age: 90

Oct 23, 1935 - Sep 12, 2026

Mary Creason passed away Saturday evening, September 12 at the Tiffany Spring Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 90.

Mary was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, in particular, the Northland. She was the daughter of Verne and Hazel Alexander. She graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1953 and shortly thereafter married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Creason. They had three children and when the kids were old enough for school,  Mary  went to work, first as doing home sales for children’s toys and later as a real estate agent. Her real estate career was quite successful, and she remained in the business until her retirement at age 62. After retirement from the rest estate business, she worked at KC Collectibles, combining one her loves with her desire to stay busy and interact with new and old friends.

The people who met and knew Mary would regard her as one of the nicest people they ever met. She had a group of lifelong friends, almost all of whom she outlasted. Her generosity and helpfulness to others defined her. She impressed people with her keen sense of style and she loved collecting knick-knacks and mementos. To her family, she was the most devoted and loyal parent/grandparent imaginable, and her loss leaves a hole that couldn’t be filled.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents (Verne and Hazel) and her daughter Cindi. She is survived by her brother Bill Alexander and his wife Jinny, her sons Chris and Curt Creason, four grandchildren (Chris Wipperman, Aimee Brodbeck, Kat Sisk and Jerra Creason) and one great-grandchild (Jaxon Brown).

Her life was well-lived; she left a lasting positive mark on everyone she knew, she enjoyed her world to the fullest and her loved ones are forever indebted to her for her goodness.
