Peter Albert Muff Reilly, 69, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on September 9, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family.

Peter was born February 28, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Albert and Olive Muff. He retired after 40 years of employment at the VFW National Headquarters. Peter loved listening to and playing music. He also found great joy in entertaining and cooking for friends and family.

Peter will be forever and lovingly remembered by his wife, Carrie Reilly; his children, Jon Williams, Jeremy (Leryn) Williams, Charles Reilly, and Kaela (Zach) Schellenberger; his 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Marie (Monty) Benz and Eileen Johnson; his nieces and nephews; and many friends. He will also be missed by his beloved dogs, Max and George. 

Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Albert F. and Olive M. Muff. 

Peter’s celebration of life will be held from 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at East Forty Brewing in The Mill Room, 1201 W Main St, Blue Springs, Missouri.
