Robert Homer Hagenbuch, Sr., Age: 82

Robert Homer Hagenbuch, Sr., age 82, passed away peacefully September 14, 2026 with his loving wife amd son John by his side at his home in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was born February 24, 1944 in Danville, Pennsylvania to the late Homer and Irene Hagenbuch.
 
Bob was baptised into Christ on his 80th birthday and remained a faithful member of the Vivion Road Church of Christ.  Bob's faith was extremely important to him all of his life.  He loved singing hymns and worshipping with his family.
 
Bob served in the National Guard 1966-1972.  He received his formal education at Williamsport Technical School in Pennsylvania.  His career began at Turbotville Block Company and concluded with Pullman Power where he was Chief Drafstman and CAD designer for more than four decades.  
 
Bob was an incredibly compassionate family man.  He enjoyed an active life of running 5 K's and half marathons, and cycling with friends and family including numerous MS 150 charity rides.  He was a skilled craftsman, and an avid race fan, especially that of Formula 1.  He had tremendous passion participating in reenacting with his brothers, Mark and David, as a member of Muskets of the Crown.  Many knew Bob as a wonderful story-teller!  He was a wonderful provider and always there to lend a helpful hand whenever his friends and family needed him.  His generosity will be greatly missed by many.
 
In addition to his parents, he was proceded in death by his brother Mark Otis Hagenbuch.
 
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marcia, his three loving sons, Robert and wife Kelly, Craig and wife Laura, and John and wife Jamie.  He is also survived by his 10 wonderful grandchildren, Eric, Alex, Emily, Breanna, Craig, Jr., Hollis, Asa, Samuel, Cora and Imogene, and many extended grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
The Hagenbuch Family has chosen a private, family focussed Celebration of Life.
A joint Memorial Service will be held in honor of Bob & Marcia after her passing.
