Willis Dwaine Hauser

Jun 17, 1936 - Oct 08, 2026

Willis Dwaine Hauser, born in Hitchcock, Oklahoma, on June 17, 1936, passed away on October 8, 2026.

Willis was the third of four children born to Victor and Helen Hauser. His early life inspired within him a great love for the outdoors and a wonder for the world around him. After high school, Willis joined the U.S. Army and after an honorable discharge, obtained a Bachelor degree from Oklahoma State University.

After college, Willis was employed as a civilian by Tinker Air Force Base, working in the information systems department until his retirement at 70 years old.

Throughout his life, Willis possessed seemingly limitless energy and was always on the move. He was an avid reader of history books, business journals and science magazines. He was never without a project to tinker with. This inner drive to understand how things work inspired him to purchase farmland on which he lived, grew crops and cared for various livestock as a hobby after his long days at work.

Willis was a beloved and devoted father and cherished his time with his two daughters. Always the provider and protector, Willis will be remembered for his love, guidance, curiosity and boundless energy.

Willis was preceded in death by his parents and his three siblings, Victor L. Hauser,  Louis D. Hauser and Flora L. Waldie. He is survived by his second wife, Alison, and his daughters Stacey Deann and Stefanie Suzanne.

A private family gathering will be held at a later day.

In memory of Willis, the family suggests donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinson.org in lieu of floral tributes.
